DCT & DSG Gearbox Oil

Dual-clutch transmissions (DCT/DSG) use a dedicated fluid chemistry distinct from both manual gear oil and torque-converter ATF, because the fluid has to manage wet-clutch friction engagement as well as gear lubrication and cooling. This collection features MANNOL 8202 and FANFARO 8616, both formulated specifically for dual-clutch/DSG applications. Using a standard ATF or manual gear oil in a DCT box is a common cause of jerky clutch engagement and premature mechatronic wear, since neither is designed for the friction-modifier demands of a wet dual-clutch pack. Always confirm your specific DCT/DSG generation against the manufacturer's approval list, as fluid requirements vary between generations of the same gearbox family.
